Paul Burns is the Managing Director of Twitter Canada based out of it's Canadian headquarters in Toronto. At Twitter, Paul is responsible for the overall vision, innovation and growth in the Canadian market. Prior to Twitter, Paul led the leading global consulting, design and technology firm Huge and helped ambitious brands like Apple, Google, Nike drive their innovation strategy forward. Prior to Huge, Paul held a variety of senior executive roles at Shaw Communications, Sympatico/MSN, and Nokia, and has helped global brands drive exceptional customer experiences through user-centric design and digital transformation. Paul currently serves on the board of Matthew House (a non profit home for refugees) and has also served as a board member for both the Interactive Advertising Bureau as well as the Banff World Media Festival. Paul lives in Toronto with his wife Olivia and two children Anderson & Wesley. He can be found on Twitter @paulburns.

Daily Bread Food Bank
Neil Hetherington joined Daily Bread Food Bank as CEO in January 2018. Neil began his career in project management at Tridel Construction, Canada’s largest condominium developer. In September 2000, he made a career change by joining Habitat for Humanity Toronto, at the time as the youngest CEO of a Habitat affiliate in the world. Neil’s non-profit experience includes 16 years as CEO of Habitat for Humanity in Toronto, and then New York City, and two years as CEO of Dixon Hall, a multi-service agency with 240 staff serving thousands of people in Toronto through its social programs, shelters, seniors programs, youth initiatives and community revitalization efforts. Neil holds degrees or certificates from the University of Western Ontario – Huron College, Seneca College, Harvard Business School and the University of Virginia – Darden Business School. He obtained his MBA from the University of Western Ontario’s Ivey Business School in 2013. He is an active pilot and sailor. He enjoys furniture making and in his spare time plays tennis terribly, snowboards poorly and bikes slowly.

Rachael Wilson

Ottawa Food Bank
Rachael Wilson is the Interim CEO at the Ottawa Food Bank. Rachael has been a member of the Ottawa Food Bank’s executive team as the Director, Communications & Development for over four years.
Prior to joining the Ottawa Food Bank staff team, Rachael held high-level positions within the charitable sector for most of her 20-year career. As a Certified Fund Raising Executive, Rachael is well-versed in what it means to be a leader in this landscape. Since joining the Ottawa Food Bank, Rachael has played an integral role in the strategic planning process and setting the direction for the organization, while also providing strategic counsel to Food Banks Canada as it relates to fundraising and best practices.
Prior to shifting priorities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rachael helped make great strides in lobbying the City to implement a Poverty Reduction Strategy and helped to bring the issue of food insecurity in temporary emergency shelters to the table. She also worked in partnership to ensure food security was part of the last federal and municipal elections.
Rachael was born and raised in Ottawa. Although she has left a few times she always comes back to her hometown. She lives here with her husband, two children and her golden retriever, Rosie.
