Gordon Mackay is a Founder and Principal of MACKAYWONG, an award winning design and branding agency that succeeds in bringing exciting concepts to life for the worlds leading hospitality and entertainment brands. He leads a dynamic team of Designers, Strategists and Graduate Architects, who craft immersive guest experiences through physical and graphic design. From Concept Development to Opening Night, the firm specializes in bringing a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach to building dynamic environments that bring people together. Gordon is a respected thought leader within the hospitality world and his expertise has helped place the firm as one of North America's most sought after creative resources. He is frequently called upon by hotel, restaurant and entertainment industry publications to provide insight a current trends and innovations within each business sector.

He strives to balance a busy professional life with his love of working with children in a wide variety of capacities. Gordon has spent many rewarding years as a Councillor at Camp Oochigeas, a Scout Leader with the 219th Troop in Etobicoke, a Sunday School teacher at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church and an active hockey coach with the Warren Park Hockey Association. He and his wife Dawn are the proud parents of two terrific boys who are actively finding their way in the world with a spirit of service, wonder and curiosity.
